Welcome to Ashfield House, Grassington, a secluded seventeenth-century ‘Home’ situated down a private lane, only a few yards from Grassington’s cobbled village square.
The House started life as 3 single room cottages, built in 1604, the first all stone buildings, together with the Old Hall, to be built in Grassington. The cottages were initially occupied by lead miners, who worked in Grassington’s lead mines, the remains of which are within a 15 minute walk.
As resident owners, we extend a warm and friendly welcome, in the relaxed atmosphere of our 'Home from Home' environment, offering all the opportunity to enjoy and explore the Dales, while visiting Grassington.

Ashfield House benefits from full central heating, which, together with a wood burning stove and our large open fires creates that cosy atmosphere particularly in the colder months. Many an evening has been spent with friends roasting chestnuts and marshmallows whilst sipping a glass of wine.
Our Garden Suite and the seven twin or double-bedded rooms all have private facilities, colour television, hairdryers and courtesy tray.
