Reservation Terms and Conditions at Ashfield House

Rates and Occupancy:
All rates shown are per room, based on 2 guests sharing and are inclusive of VAT.  Breakfast is included in the room rate.
There is a maximum occupancy of two guests per room.  We are unable to accept children under the age of 12.
We accept Cash, Debit Cards, and Credit Cards (excluding American Express).  We are unable to accept cheques.

Once you have made your reservation, our agreement becomes a legally binding contract. No cancellation fee will be charged if cancellation is made more than 7 days before your arrival date. For cancellations made within 7 days of your arrival date, or by failing to take up the reservation without cancelling, we reserve the right to charge 100% of the booking value.

The cancellation details for reservations of 3 rooms or more are agreed at the time of the reservation.

We will only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We will attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we will refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Damages and Breakages:
We accept that breakages and accidental damage happens, however please report these as soon as they occur to enable to repair where necessary. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for where making good damage or breakages is significant, or the damage has been done on purpose.  Where a room requires significant cleaning following your stay, we may make an additional charge of £50 to cover the additional costs.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in Ashfield House or its grounds.  We will charge an additional fee of £50 to cover a deep clea if smoking has taken place in a guest’s room or communal areas.

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of their employment.

Any data gathered during the course of this booking may be held on computer locally. We do not hold any financial details on our computers these are held By Barclaycard Merchant banking on our behalf.
